Vioneo Decides to Build Green Methanol-to-Polyolefins Plant in China

European startup Vioneo shifted its planned green methanol-to-polyolefins plant from Antwerp to China, citing better feedstock access and cost efficiency. Expected to operate by late 2029, the facility will produce polyethylene and polypropylene using renewable methanol.
