Pulse Cross-Border | Wildberries partners with Leonardo to launch in-store pickup; Walmart launches 30-minute express delivery; Amazon US baby & maternal products category surges in popularity I. Wildberries and Leonardo jointly launch in-store pickup, expanding cultural-creative retail scenarios Russian e-commerce giant Wildberries has entered a strategic partnership with cultural-creative retail chain Leonardo, officially rolling out an online-ordering, in-store-pickup service. In its initial phase, the service is available at 30 Leonardo stores across Moscow, offering over 14,000 SKUs of cultural-creative products—including stationery, journaling supplies, and DIY craft materials. The collaboration will progressively expand to cover 120 stores across 53 Russian cities, broadening the product range to 70,000 SKUs. Customers who place orders on the Wildberries platform can pick up their purchases at a nearby store within seven days. This initiative bridges online traffic with offline physical resources, enriches the platform’s product matrix, enhances last-mile consumer experience, and effectively extends the retail service boundaries for both parties. II. Walmart intensifies investment in instant retail with new 30-minute express delivery service Walmart has launched a 30-minute express delivery service for paid Walmart+ members across 33 U.S. markets, covering over 100,000 items—including fresh groceries, general merchandise, baby & maternal products, electronics, and prescription medications. The service is already live in key cities such as Austin and Chicago. Members incur an additional $10 delivery fee per order—positioning it competitively against Amazon Prime’s $3.99 express delivery offering—and signals another escalation in the instant-retail rivalry between the two giants. Leveraging its nationwide store network and intelligent dispatch algorithms, Walmart completed millions of express deliveries in Q1 2026. It is also actively developing drone delivery capabilities, aiming to establish over 270 dedicated delivery hubs by 2027 to build a multi-tiered fulfillment system. III. Amazon US baby & maternal products category sees strong sales growth, with heightened demand for safe and portable items
