J-Star Holding generates revenue primarily through sales of bicycle components, racket components, and other products—including automotive structural parts, sports equipment, and healthcare products. J-Star Holding is listed on Nasdaq under the ticker symbol YMAT. Maxim Group LLC served as the sole book-running manager for this transaction. 2. Ultra-low-power chipmaker Ambiq Micro priced its IPO at $24 per share, raising $96 million; its ticker symbol is AMBQ. Ambiq Micro, a company designing ultra-low-power chips for artificial intelligence computing and other applications, issued 4 million shares at $24 per share—within its $22–$25 price range—to raise $96 million. The number of shares offered exceeded the initially anticipated amount by 600,000. Ambiq Micro provides ultra-low-power semiconductor solutions designed to address the substantial power-consumption challenges facing general-purpose and AI computing—particularly at the edge. The company’s proprietary Sub-threshold Power Optimized Technology (SPOT) platform is a proprietary ultra-low-power chip design platform comprising a suite of chip-design techniques enabling standard transistors to operate in ultra-low-power modes known as “sub-threshold” and “near-threshold.” Ambiq’s solutions include a diverse portfolio of system-on-chip (SoC) products, along with software required for on-chip AI processing, general-purpose computing, sensing, security, storage, wireless connectivity, and advanced graphics processing.

Leidi Network, Letian, September 17 J-Star Holding (ticker symbol: YMAT), a carbon fiber manufacturer based in Taiwan, China, recently filed its IPO prospectus with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). J-Star’s proposed offering price range is $4 to $5 per share, with 4 million shares offered, aiming to raise up to $20 million. J-Star Holding is a Taiwan-based company specializing in the design, research and development, and manufacturing of various lightweight, high-performance carbon composite products. Its headquarters and R&D center—including its materials laboratory—are located in Taichung, Taiwan, while its production facility and second R&D center are situated in Dongguan. J-Star Holding generates revenue through three main business lines: (1) sales of bicycle components for road and electric bicycles; (2) sales of rackets for tennis, badminton, squash, and beach tennis; and (3) sales of other products—including automotive structural components, additional sports equipment, and health-care products. According to the prospectus, J-Star Holding’s revenues for 2021 and 2022 were $31.33 million and $39.38 million, respectively; its operating profits were -$120,000 and $89,000, respectively.
