Which stocks have the potential to triple by year-end?

Investing: Don’t imagine (or believe) you’re smarter than the company’s management team—trust their professional competence (otherwise, just start your own company); it’s enough not to be dumber than them. For example, Nokia exited the smartphone market before its explosive growth… Recently, Boeing prioritized funding over safety; GE ventured into low-end LED lighting. Investing is simpler than most people think—but more complex than I myself imagined. Note that some commodities may hit highs that aren’t necessarily all-time highs—but I believe most will reach, or even exceed, historical peaks (driven by infrastructure spending in China, the U.S., and Europe, plus broad global small-scale infrastructure projects). Given the 2020 market environment, defense-related stocks may offer the strongest forward certainty (commodity prices fluctuate too wildly, making timing unpredictable). The state recently lifted price controls on military procurement, likely boosting overall gross and net margins across the defense sector. Thus, defense firms with >50% revenue from military products should see ~3x upside. Priority ranking: aerospace (including space) > naval > land systems > electronics > manufacturing. Tech stocks face intense competition and heavy foreign influence (e.g., O-film, Goodix). Kede Numerical Control: Too few K-line data points for reliable technical analysis—but fundamentals are strong; buy first, no major concerns expected. (Core component self-sufficiency rate: 85%) • Full coverage—from machine tools to components; vanguard of high-end CNC machine tool localization in China. • Leading domestic enterprise with the highest degree of localization in five-axis联动 CNC machine tools; independently developed key components including CNC systems, servo drives, motors, sensors, rotary tables, milling heads, and electric spindles. One of only a few domestic firms fully mastering high-end CNC core technologies and delivering high-end equipment. • A rare domestic enterprise capable of mass-producing and selling five-axis联动 machine tools. • Five-axis联动 machines excel at machining complex spatial geometries, enabling multi-process composite machining with higher efficiency and precision—making them the sole solution for critical industrial parts such as aircraft engine impellers, blisks, blades, and marine propellers. • High R&D investment (>40%) + government support have brought core technologies to internationally advanced levels. For instance, Kede’s GNC60 CNC system matches Siemens’ 840D in performance, while offering superior cost-effectiveness—demonstrating strong capability for domestic substitution. China Southern Glass (Nanbo A): Target price: ¥25 (~¥100B market cap); current price: ¥9.7 (~¥30B market cap); recommended entry: ¥9. Key catalysts: competitive positioning against Gorilla Glass in cover glass, plus engineering glass—moderate risk. • All “four types of glass” show breakthrough potential: — Float glass entering a new cyclical upturn, with strengthening sustainability of prosperity; — Engineering glass targeting premium segment, with rapid capacity expansion underway; — Electronic cover glass poised to lead domestic substitution trends; — Photovoltaic glass likely to scale rapidly, entering the top tier. Baosteel: High certainty (but slower timing)—~5x upside. Xiaomi’s recent official announcement of EV manufacturing strongly benefits Baosteel, given Xiaomi’s low-margin strategy. • Holds 30% domestic market share in high-end home appliance steel plates—potentially rising to 50%. • Holds >50% domestic market share in automotive steel plates—can this reach 50% globally? Baosteel has independently developed the ultra-lightweight, high-safety, fully electric white body “BCB EV” (Baosteel Car Body Electric Vehicle), globally launched at China Baowu Steel Group’s Expo Center. Regardless of its eventual global share, Xiaomi’s entry delivers a powerful blow to Japanese and Korean automakers—especially undermining Japan’s emphasis on fuel economy, which loses relevance in the EV era, while its bet on hydrogen remains niche. Aside from a few wealthy G20 nations, opting out of Chinese EVs would be inexplicable… Capital markets now revolve around Tesla (U.S.) and Chinese players—BYD, NIO, Li Auto, Huawei-FAW, and Xiaomi. Their valuations? Foreign capital is bullish.
