Consumers are virtually powerless against this cycle. Four practical tips for buying supplements wisely: 1. Choose reputable domestic brands. Established supplement brands often maintain dedicated quality control departments—or rely on third-party laboratories for rigorous quality oversight. The U.S. FDA also conducts regular inspections of such companies.
