Three Major Japanese Chemical Firms Finalize Ethylene Joint Venture Equity Structure

Asahi Kasei, Mitsui Chemicals, and Mitsubishi Chemical have finalized the equity structure for their ethylene joint venture, with Mitsui and Mitsubishi each holding 45%. The agreement paves the way for integrating production capacity by 2030, including the closure of the Mizushima plant.
