Covestro, Fraunhofer UMSICHT Team Up for Rigid PU Foam Recycling Plant

Covestro and Fraunhofer UMSICHT are collaborating on a pilot plant using pyrolysis to recycle rigid PU foam into aniline for MDI production. The 2,000-mt/year facility is scheduled to become operational by mid-2028.
