Gu Zongqin, chairman of the Nitrogen Fertilizer Association, said in his speech that the output of the nitrogen fertilizer industry in the first three quarters of 2021 was basically the same year-on-year, and apparent consumption declined slightly

Regarding the main factors affecting the production and market of nitrogen fertilizer, Gu Zongqin analyzed that, first, the global energy price is rising steadily, and the world "energy crisis" is coming, which will promote the price increase of nitrogen fertilizer

"On the whole, if external conditions such as raw materials and electricity are guaranteed, the supply of nitrogen fertilizers this winter and next spring is expected to meet domestic demand

Gu Zongqin also put forward six requirements for the next stage of nitrogen fertilizer supply work: actively seek support from the national and local governments; increase the capacity utilization rate of nitrogen fertilizer installations, and strive to increase nitrogen fertilizer production; rationally arrange exports, and give priority to the supply of supplies to the country during the peak season of fertilizer use.
