On June 8, Sinopec's major scientific and technological project "Technology Development and Application of Lightweight Materials for Green Environmental Protection Vehicles" passed the appraisal of the headquarters

In the past three years, the project has focused on basic polymers, composite materials and automotive parts, focusing on solving 5 common technical problems, and efficiently developed new products, new technologies and new processes of lightweight non-metallic materials for automobiles

Since 2016, Sinopec has launched major scientific and technological projects, aiming at solving transformative technical problems, concentrating the core backbone scientific research forces in the industry, forming a "big corps" to tackle key problems, and carrying out integrated joint research and development.
So far, more than 10 technologies have been completed.
