At the upcoming AMUG conference, Arkema will launch several new products and establish strategic partnerships with key players along the value chain to take advantage of the unique capabilities of additive manufacturing, namely design and customization freedom, spray speed and reduce the use of raw materials
    .

Arkema's N3xtDimension liquid resins for UV-cured 3D printing include formulations, engineering resins for targeted properties, and performance building blocks and additives
    .
At AMUG, Arkema will introduce five new high-performance custom formulations for UV curing

    .

N3D-TOUGH784: High-strength resin with excellent tensile strength and flexibility

HT424: High strength, high temperature resistant resin

    HT511: Tough High Temperature Resin

DMT-303: High-performance resin designed to print accurate dental models

IC163: Casting resin for printing high-resolution, high-detail parts that burn off cleanly

Arkema will also introduce a new PRO22802 elastic engineering resin, which balances elongation at break and tear strength for superior mechanical properties
    .

In the powder bed fusion section, Arkema will present its newly developed SLS PEBAX powder
    .
This partially bio-based thermoplastic elastomer specifically designed for selective laser sintering (SLS) maintains the excellent combination of strength and elasticity that has made PEBAX resins famous in many fields such as sports, medical and industrial applications

    .

In filament extrusion, Arkema, together with Kimya, now offers PEKK-SC filament, made from Kepstan PEKK
    .
This semi-crystalline thermoplastic polymer has high heat and chemical resistance and is suitable for use in oil and gas, aerospace and all industries to replace metals used in the most demanding applications

    .

The company also highlighted a recently formed strategic partnership
    .
In November 2021, EOS Corporation and Advanced Laser Materials (ALM), a leading developer of industrial 3D printing materials, released the industry’s first carbon neutral certified polymer material family using Arkema’s advanced biocyclic polyamide 11 materials and optimized for high performance

    .
The use of these sustainable polymer materials from Arkema is EOS' commitment to responsible manufacturing and sustainable development, and another move by Arkema as a world leader in bio-recycled materials

    .

In March 2022, Arkema partner BCN3D Technologies released their new resin-based Viscosity Lithography Manufacturing (VLM) 3D printing technology capable of processing resins 50 times more viscous than the industry standard
    .
Through a joint development agreement, Arkema is working with BCN3D to leverage the unique advantages of VLM technology to jointly develop new materials to meet application needs

    .
This partnership will provide further opportunities for further development of mass manufacturing and production of functional parts
