On December 8, Ascend announced the acquisition of a modified engineering plastics plant in Mexico to expand its global footprint and increase the production capacity of high-performance engineering materials
.
The acquisition agreement covers the assets of DM Color Mexicana, a joint venture between Daiichi Chemicals and Mitsubishi Corporation, and the transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2022
.
