Ascend Performance Materials recently announced that it plans to launch several new specialty polyamides at K2019 to meet the growing demands of its custome.
Vydyne XHT (pictured below) is a new portfolio of thermally stabilized polyamide (PA) 66 and copolymers capable of withstanding long-term exposure temperatures up to 230.

The Vydyne XHT portfolio includes four glass-filled grades ideal for demanding automotive applications such as charge air coolers, integrated intake manifolds, exhaust gas recirculators and resonato.
Ascend will also launch a new portfolio of PA 610 and PA 612 long-chain polyamid.
