Sinochem News, according to World Natural Gas News on June 22: Blue Energy, a Sydney-listed company, said that it has signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding with Australian company Stanmore Resources to transfer from the Bowen Basin in Queensland.
Hydrogen will be supplied in the future pilot production activities of the ATP 814 mineral rights
.
This latest agreement was reached after Blue Energy and Stanmore previously announced a non-binding memorandum of understanding to commercialize mineral gas from underground operations near ATP 814 proposed by Stanmore
.
Blue is researching and developing the conversion potential of former natural gas production, from pilot gas well operations to supplying hydrogen to the fleet of equipment at Stanmore's Isaac Plains Complex
.
"The gas that Blue uses to convert to hydrogen will be a pilot gas, otherwise it will be ignited.
Blue is currently studying ready-made modular hydrogen production equipment, which is portable and can be installed in the center or wellhead.
The company stated that it is establishing a technical partner for this hydrogen experiment.
