    At present, the company's 3 sets of biochemical treatment devices have reached the special discharge limit requirements for wastewater in the "Petrochemical Industry Pollutant Discharge Standards".
    From January to May this year, the production wastewater continued to maintain stable and up-to-standard discharges, marking the first time that the main stream of the Yangtze River reached Class II water quality across the board.

    In order to ensure that the production wastewater is "clean home" after strict treatment, the company has established a large-scale environmental protection pattern, compiled a company's sewage discharge balance chart, and further found out the status of sewage discharge.


    The company organized the research on emission reduction at the source, implemented the cleanup and diversion of hidden dangers, and reduced the impact of rainwater entering the sewage system during the rain on the downstream; implemented the transformation unit of the Ministry of Coal Chemical Industry conversion unit high ammonia nitrogen sewage stripping transformation, so that the total nitrogen at the source of the ministry was reduced by 60 %; Implementation of the transformation of the caprolactam plant for full benzene distillation to extend the ion exchange regeneration cycle and reduce the total amount of waste water

    The caprolactam ammonium sulfide evaporation condensate is sent to the district of the Department of Thermal Power (Yueyang) for desulfurization and water replenishment; a new water extraction tower is added to the ammoximation unit to reduce the concentration of pollutants; the resin department fine process index control, wastewater COD (chemical oxygen demand) Decrease by 25%, and the production volume of waste resin polymer per unit product decreased by 50%

    The Ministry of Water Affairs has comprehensively sorted out the bottlenecks in the operation of the device, and continuously improved the sewage treatment system process by implementing small technical reform measures and equipment updates such as updating aerators and fillers, strictly controlling dissolved oxygen, and improving the sludge return system


    The epoxy unit of the Yunxi Biochemical Plant is specifically designed for the construction of the epoxy chlorohydrin wastewater of the resin department, and the directional treatment of high-salt wastewater

    Due to the rising production load of epichlorohydrin, the concentration of sewage pollutants generated once exceeded 20%, causing the epoxy unit to repeatedly collapse throughout the entire process, making it difficult to maintain stable operation


      In this regard, the plant technicians began to tackle key problems and finally formed a complete set of operating plans for high-salt sewage treatment.
