BASF announces a 35% increase in the price of its additives for the global paint and coatings industry

On December 1, 2021, BASF announced that with immediate effect, or where existing contracts allow, it will increase the prices of its global paint and coatings industry additives such as Attagel, Dispex, Efka, Foamaster, FoamStar, Hydropalat, Irgafos, Irganox , Loxanol, Rheovis, Sterocoll, Tinuvin and Uvinul grades

To make up for soaring raw material, transportation and energy costs, as well as other costs such as labor, packaging and maintenance, price increases of up to 35% are required

The increase is necessary in order to continue to support our customers with a high level of product and service
