    BASF continues to expand its diphenylmethane diisocyanate (MDI) portfoliowith the launch of Lupranat ®

    Lupranat ® ZERO features zero carbon emissions and the use of renewable sources

    It is reported that Lupranat ZERO will first be applied to Lupranat M 70 R to produce MDI polyisocyanurate panels (also known as PIR or polyiso) and rigid polyurethane foams for the construction industry


    At the same time, BASF has set an even more ambitious climate target of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 25% by 2030 compared to 2018 levels


    In addition, BASF has determined MDI's product carbon footprint based on actual energy and raw material consumption in 2021, and the relevant data is now available to customers
