Berry's new all-plastic pump is made from a single polyolefin with 70% recycled content

In recent years, recyclable single-material all-plastic pumps are also a new form of packaging favored by brands in the global fast-moving consumer goods industry

It is made of green and environmentally friendly plastic material, and through the transformation of the engineering structure, the springs and glass beads are replaced, so as to maintain or even improve the original functionality and consumer experience

But at present, there are not many companies that develop and manufacture such bottled dispensers, such as Aptar, Berry Global, Rieke and so on

Berry developed and launched a new recyclable pump head, the Wave2cc, this year
.
The pump head is all produced from a single polyolefin without metal parts, and can be physically recycled when matched with a PET bottle
.
The pump head is suitable for e-commerce applications as well as liquid products with different viscosities to meet a range of personal care packaging needs
.
This product is the first product of Berry's Wave pump head series, and 3cc, 4cc and other pump heads will be launched later
.

The design has a RecyClass A rating and can be produced with 70% post-consumer recycled plastic (which has received a no-objection letter from the FDA)
.
The new product will be available in late 2022
