On March 26, the first phase development project of CNOOC Bozhong 19-6 condensate gas field started in Qingdao, marking that the development of the first 100 billion cubic meter gas field in China's Bohai Bay has officially entered the project implementation stage.
The project plans to build 8 new structural units at 3 sites in Qingdao and Tianjin, including 1 central platform, 3 unmanned wellhead platforms and 4 jackets.
It is understood that the Bozhong 19-6 condensate gas field was discovered in the central waters of the Bohai Sea in 2019.
"The first phase of the project is more difficult to develop than the pilot area.
It is reported that the first phase of the project is scheduled to start drilling in November this year, and will provide a safer, cleaner and lower-carbon energy guarantee for the high-quality social and economic development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and the Bohai Rim region in the future
