    Recently, the technical staff of the Sand Control Institute of the Shengli Oilfield Petroleum Engineering Technology Research Institute successfully implemented the one-step drag-type layered packing sand control construction in the GOGD7-36-3226 well of the Gudong oil production plant, marking the offshore oilfield tertiary oil recovery and injection production A breakthrough has been made in the sand control part of the key process technology research project.


    Shengli Offshore Oilfield is the main position of Shengli Oilfield for stabilizing and increasing production, but there are bottlenecks restricting development in terms of layered polymer injection, test deployment, and long-term sand control and lifting.


    Well GOGD7-36-3226 has 2 small production layers with interlayers in between, and there is interlayer heterogeneity.


    The successful implementation of layered sand control in this well provides strong technical support for efficient and refined sand control in offshore oilfields, and also provides a successful example for sand control in similar multi-layer wells in China.
