Liquid chromatography refers to chromatography in which the mobile phase is liquid
In recent years environmental monitoring soon, cities water supply industry, measured by HPLC analysis of PAHs application after, of PAHs some carcinogenic, mutagenic substances, such as benzo ( a) Pyrene, tea, fluoranthene, etc.
(1) Basic principles of high performance liquid chromatography
According to the different stationary phase state and separation mechanism, liquid chromatography can be divided into four categories: liquid-liquid partition chromatography; liquid-solid adsorption chromatography; ion exchange chromatography; gel permeation chromatography
Table 4.
According to the relative polarity of the stationary phase and the mobile phase, liquid-liquid partition chromatography can be divided into two types, namely normal phase liquid chromatography and reverse phase liquid chromatography
Liquid chromatography in which the polarity of the stationary phase is stronger than that of the mobile phase is called normal phase chromatography
(2) High performance liquid chromatograph and its operation
1) Infusion part
2) Injection valve
The injection of liquid chromatography is different from that of gas chromatography, because the infusion pressure of high performance liquid chromatography can be as high as tens of megapascals.
The sampling effect is better by using the injection valve.
3) Separation system
