BYD and Faurecia Joint Venture Establishes Subsidiary in Xi'an

It was learned by Qichacha that Xi'an Faurecia Auto Parts Co.

The company's equity penetration shows that the company is wholly-owned by Shenzhen Faurecia Auto Parts Co.

On October 31, 2017, BYD announced that its holding subsidiary BYD Auto Industry Co.

Subsequently, on July 5, 2018, the joint venture company was officially unveiled, and it was confirmed that the development, production and delivery of seats would be carried out at BYD's factories in Shenzhen, Xi'an and Changsha.

According to the initial plan, by 2022, the joint venture's seat production is expected to reach more than 700,000 sets, and it is expected to achieve sales of more than 2 billion yuan
