China Petrochemical News Network reported that Changling Refining & Chemical technicians have carried out technical research activities on heavy oil heat exchangers for refining processes.

The core-pulling operation of the heat exchanger of the heavy oil production unit is a big problem.

In the purge phase of the plant shutdown, the technical team used the method of replacing the oil with diesel oil according to the technical plan, and then heated the steam before the core pulling according to the plan.

At present, all the heat exchangers of the coking unit have completed core pulling, and all have entered the cleaning and maintenance and replacement phases of internal structural parts.
