China Petrochemical News Network News Since this year, Changling Refinery has actively optimized the production of low-sulfur heavy marine fuel oil (marine fuel) through process improvement and equipment transformation, which has better ensured the market oil supply and corporate efficiency.
    Demand
    .

In accordance with the deployment arrangement of Sinopec’s headquarters, Changling Refining & Chemical Corporation launched the low-sulfur heavy-duty ship-fuel project at the end of February 2020.
In June of the same year, the first batch of low-sulfur heavy-duty ships were fired and shipped out of the factory, and Sinopec Fuel Oil Company was responsible for distribution to the international Route ships use
    .

Low-sulfur heavy ship fuel mainly uses heavy oil by-produced in the refining production process as raw materials
    .

In order to reduce the production cost of the oil product and improve the quality of the oil product, Changling Refining & Chemical technicians continuously adjust and optimize the oil blending ratio, and fundamentally reduce the production cost of low-sulfur heavy-duty ship fuel

At the same time, they also added the process of reconciling low-sulfur heavy ship combustion during the overhaul period in 2021 based on the characteristics of low sulfur content and high aromatic content in related oil products of their own installations, reducing unnecessary process cycles in the oil production process.
This reduces the fuel consumption and material consumption of low-sulfur heavy ships
    .

With the implementation of the two measures, the blending ratio of low-sulfur heavy ship-fueled key oil products is close to the ideal target

Affected by storage and transportation conditions, Changling Refining & Chemical's low-sulfur heavy-duty ship fuel can only be transported by car to the dock for shipment, and the production capacity of the device is limited
    .

The technical staff optimized the steps of reconciliation, delivery for inspection and reverse transportation, and the production volume increased from 6,000 tons/month to more than 9,000 tons/month
