China Petrochemical News Network reported that on May 17, the first secondary enterprise quality standard Q/SH35000034 01-2021 "Biodegradable Plastic Shopping Bag" compiled by the Jiangsu Branch of Chemical Marketing was publicly released on the national standard information public service platform.

In order to actively respond to the national plastic ban and limit policy requirements, practice the new development concept of innovation, coordination, greenness, openness, and sharing, implement the group company’s party group’s decision to vigorously develop new degradable materials, and target the mixed market of biodegradable materials.

Under the guidance of experts from the Group's Science and Technology Department, Chemical Business Department, Chemical Sales Company, Beijing Research Institute of Chemical Industry and Yanshan Petrochemical, Chemical Marketing Jiangsu Branch is based on the quality inspection results of multiple batches of biodegradable plastic shopping bags and on the basis of national standards.
