Sinochem Xinnet News On August 1, the inauguration ceremony of the Xi'an R&D Center of China Chemical Carbon Neutral Research Institute of Science and Technology and China Chemical Science and Technology Research Co.

The institute will focus on achieving the dual-carbon goal and promoting green development, actively deploying a batch of new technologies, new processes, and new equipment for the dual-carbon goal, giving play to the advantages of the integration of industry, academia, research and design, and demonstrating central enterprises in helping to achieve the dual-carbon goal.

Liu Jiaqiang, General Manager and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of China National Chemical Engineering Corporation, pointed out that the Institute of Carbon Neutrality Science and Technology must be ambitious, attract talents from an international perspective, and become a pioneer, leader and master of dual-carbon green technology research.

Sun Ke, Secretary of the Science and Technology Working Committee of the Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, said that as a major energy and chemical province, Shaanxi has a long way to go for carbon emissions in key industries.
