On November 16, the Guangdong Petrochemical Petroleum Coke Hydrogen Production Joint Unit, which was contracted by the PC general contractor of Huanqiu Engineering Company and constructed by Huanqiu Jilin Chemical Construction Company, successfully produced qualified hydrogen

This marks the complete success
of the first 100% petroleum coke hydrogen production combined plant in China.

Guangdong Petrochemical Petroleum Coke Hydrogen Production Joint Unit is the device with the largest area area, the largest number of structures and buildings, the largest amount of concrete pouring and the largest number of equipment installations in Guangdong Petrochemical Refining and Chemical Integration Project, and it is also the first petroleum coke hydrogen production unit
of PetroChina.
The plant adopts quenching gasification technology, using petroleum coke, a by-product of the refining unit, as raw material, and supplies hydrogen and fuel gas
to the whole plant after conversion and purification treatment.
