Sun Jinsheng, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, believes that the birth of the drilling rig has improved the technical level and core competitiveness of domestic drilling rigs, and provided strong equipment support for improving the quality and efficiency of oil and gas exploration and development.

“As one of the key national key technological research tasks undertaken by PetroChina, the drilling rig has completely independent intellectual property rights,” said Zhang Bin, chief engineer of Baoshi Machinery.
