Clariant and ORLEN Południe sign license agreement for sunliquid® technology

●This is the second global license agreement for sunliquid® technology signed by Clariant

ORLEN Południe, part of the ORLEN Group, plans to build a fully commercial cellulosic ethanol production plant using Clariant's sunliquid® technology at the Jedlic\ze Site in Poland

●This cooperation will be another major step towards commercialization of sunliquid® technology in the European advanced biofuel field

Shanghai, China/Moutenz, Switzerland, September 26, 2019 – Clariant, a dedicated and innovative specialty chemical company, has recently signed a license agreement for sunliquid® cellulosic ethanol technology with ORLEN Południe, part of the ORLEN Gro.

For Clariant, the signing of the agreement is an important strategic milesto.
