Clariant announced today that it has partnered with renewable hydrocarbon producer Neste to produce a variety of ethylene and propylene additives based on mass balance certification in renewable feedstocks, delivering high performance while improving environmental friendliness

As a result of this collaboration, Clariant has introduced new "Terra" specified additive solutions that can precisely replace fossil-derived materials without the need for retesting, re-registration or modification of production processes or equipment

In addition to the Terra range, Clariant also launched the Vita range for six rice bran wax-based solutions

Stephan Lynen, Head of Additives at Clariant’s business unit, said: “We need to create better value cycles with the least amount of resources and the greatest degree of reuse of resources
