Clariant Masterbatches opens regional packaging center in Thailand

●Clariant plans to provide top-level support to the packaging industry in Asia Pacific

Shanghai, China / Moutonz, Switzerland, July 3, 2019 - Clariant Masterbatches has established a Regional Packaging Center (RPC) at its manufacturing facility in Phanthong, Thailand, serving the Asia-Pacific regi.

The Clariant Masterbatches business unit opens a regional packaging center in Thaila.

The RPC project is part of Clariant's plan to improve service levels in the packaging industry in the Asia Pacific regi.

Chris Hansen, Asia Pacific Director of Clariant's Masterbatch business unit, explained: "Through the RPC project, we hope to deepen our cooperation with our customers in the process of collaborative creation, and come up with breakthrough concepts and solutions for masterbatch products and process.

Clariant has a broad range of color and additive masterbatches with specialized properties for dozens of polymers in current and future packagi.

The center also has a variety of advanced analytical equipment that can be used to detect the chemical, mechanical, environmental stress cracking, antistatic and friction coefficient properties of packaging materia.
