Shanghai, China/Moutenz, Switzerland, 8 July 2019 – Action to tackle the plastic pollution challenge has gained momentum recently, with G20 ministers signing a new international framework agreement to tackle marine plastic waste polluti.
Plastic has been hailed as a "20th century success story", but its sustainability is getting more and more attenti.
Clariant will present its sustainability collaboration project and the products behind it at K 2019 to support the development of market-ready solutions, including a major new company-wide initiative dedicated to Pay attention to the recycling of plasti.

One of these important collaborations has already yielded some groundbreaking resul.
Clariant has worked with a partner in near-infrared (NIR) scanners to develop a new black plastic colorant that can be recognized by NIR sorting equipme.
To make recycling practical, Clariant announced its strong support for effective single-material consumer solutio.
To further the collaboration, Clariant is taking its EcoTain® label to the next lev.
Richard Haldimann, Director of Innovation Excellence and Business Incubators at Clariant, said that Clariant is very proud of its commitment to building partnerships across the entire value chain, from producers to recyclers: "Over the years, Clariant has provided a variety of Solutions to help reduce plastic use, extend plastic life for reuse, and support plastic recycli.
