In the water treatment process, aeration equipment is an important equipment for water biological pretreatment and sewage activated sludge pretreatment.
Its function is to provide air (oxygen) to biological treatment systems (such as aeration tanks) through aeration equipment.
Oxygen is the amount of oxygen required for the metabolism of aerobic microorganisms, and it is also an indispensable basic substance that participates in biochemical reactions and degrades organic matter
    .

Aeration is divided into blast aeration and mechanical aeration

1 Blast aeration and diffusion device

Blast aeration is a traditional aeration method.
The blast aeration system consists of a blower, an air (oxygen) conveying pipe and an air (or oxygen) diffusion device
    .

The blower transports air (or oxygen) through the pipeline to the air diffusion device installed at the bottom of the aeration tank for aeration, so the air diffusion device in the blower aeration system is very important

1 Common aeration and diffusion devices

    (1) The diffuser tube, diffuser plate, and diffuser cover diffuser tube is composed of porous ceramic diffuser tube, its inner diameter is 45~75mm, wall thickness is 6~14mm, length is 600mm, every 10 pieces are a group, as shown in Figure 11-1 Show
    .

    The aeration rate is 12~15m/(root·h)

The air enters the tank from the vertical pipe, and then enters the treatment liquid through the diffuser
    .

The diffuser is installed on the reserved groove at the bottom of the pool, as shown in Figure 11-2

There are many types of diffusers.

As shown in Figure 11-3, the round cap diffuser is widely used in the UK.

At present, the WM-180 mesh membrane aerator independently developed by China is shown in Figure 11-4
    .

The aerator adopts a mesh membrane instead of various aeration plates for aeration discs.

Figure 11-5 shows the YMB-1 membrane microporous aerator independently developed by China.

The gas diffusion device of this aerator adopts a microporous synthetic rubber membrane, and the membrane is equipped with a 150~200um 5000 A self-closing eyelet arranged in concentric circles

    Figure 11-5 Membrane microporous aerator

The average pore diameter of the aerator membrane is 150~200um, the air flow rate is 1.
