The appraisal expert group believes that the technical results of the synthesis of DMMn by using trioxane have advanced and reliable technical indicators and strong applicability.
Academician Shu Xingtian of the Chinese Academy of Engineering pointed out that the project has developed a new process for coupling of anhydrous paraformaldehyde, invented the key technology and process for coupling strengthening of internals of the reactive extractive distillation column, and a new type of dual-functional modified resin catalyst, forming independent knowledge.
The project also overcomes the problems of low reaction efficiency in the existing production process, uneven gas-liquid distribution in the tower, difficult control of the reaction process, inaccurate simulation results, high process energy consumption, and low product economy.
