On January 19, the 3#PE unit of Sinopec Zhenhai Base was successfully commissioned.

Sinopec Zhenhai Base Phase I Project plans to deploy 2 sets of polyethylene plants, of which the 2# HDPE plant has a design scale of 300,000 tons/year using Sinopec's own technology GPE, and the 3#HDPE plant has a design scale of 300,000 tons/year using Lyondell Basel Hostalen ACP Technology

Up to now, there are only 6 production enterprises with a polyethylene plant scale of more than 1 million tons per year: Dushanzi Petrochemical, Lanzhou Petrochemical, Zhejiang Petrochemical, CNOOC Shell, Daqing Petrochemical, and Zhenhai Refinery
