On July 8, Covestro's Shanghai integrated base in Caojing opened two new plant projects for waterborne polyurethane dispersions (PUD) and elastomers, with a total investment of tens of millions of euros

The new elastomer factory is expected to be operational in 2023, and upon completion will add a new product line to the Shanghai integrated base

The Shanghai integrated base is Covestro's largest comprehensive production base in the world, with 11 factories and a total investment of 3.
