TDC NET, the infrastructure arm of Telekom Dacc, will launch its commercial 5G network
in most parts of Denmark on September 7, 2020.
The company released a statement saying it will provide 80 percent coverage through 2,650 masts, which is expected to increase to 90 percent
by the end of the year.
TDC's 5G deployment began in New Zealand in October 2019, and all 3,854 masts in TDC's future mobile network are planned to be upgraded to 5G

5GHz band from the Danish Energy Agency (DEA), TDC and Swedish equipment supplier Ericsson launched a 5G trial project
in Helsingør in December.
According to the plan, TDC will initially provide 5G services
at hubs in Copenhagen, Odense, Aarhus and Helsingør.
Customers under the TDC Erhverv, YouSee and Telmore brands will need 5G subscriptions as well as smartphones or other devices
that support the new technology.
In the second half of this year, mobile customers under the Relatel brand, which primarily serves small and medium-sized businesses, will have access to 5G
