According to Energy Global News on May 26, as part of the existing partnership agreement between the two companies, Desinib Energy has won two contracts awarded by Neste to develop its renewable energy in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

The first contract covers the EPC retrofit of Neste's existing renewable energy production refinery in Rotterdam to enable the production of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).

The second contract covers the FEED for the next world-scale renewable product refinery that Neste may build in Rotterdam.

The production process is based on Neste's proprietary NEXBTL technology, which allows the conversion of waste and residue raw materials into renewable products such as renewable diesel, SAF, and renewable solutions for the polymer and chemical industries.

The total value of the two contracts is between 50 million and 250 million euros.
