1 Scope
This section specifies the determination method of p-tert-butylcatechol (TBC) content in styrene for industrial use
This part is applicable to the determination of TBC content in styrene for industrial use, and its applicable range is 1mg/kg~100mg/kg
Any other compound contained in styrene that can produce color with the sodium hydroxide alcohol solution will interfere with the determination.
This section is not intended to explain all safety issues related to its use
Note: Styrene is flammable

Note: TBC is severely corrosive to the skin, especially when it is melted or in a concentrated solution.
