    1 Scope of application

    The wood standard stipulates the volumetric method to determine the amine content in industrial butadiene


    This standard applies to the determination of trace amines in butadiene produced by dimethylformamide (DMF) extraction method .

    3 Method summary

    Extract the amine in butadiene with distilled water in a pressure bottle , take the extract, use neutral red bromothymol blue as an indicator, titrate with a hydrochloric acid standard solution, and determine the amine content in terms of ammonia
