DSM advocates transparency of ingredients in construction products

DSM recently announced that it will cooperate with GIGA Xunlu, Toxnot and Chenyang Water Paint to fully digitize its high-performance plant-based resin, Decovery, in order to promote the transparency of chemical composition in the construction industry

Through this partnership, DSM has become the first coating resin supplier to promote transparency of product components in the construction industry

According to reports, DSM will use Toxnot's data management and evaluation platform to record and disclose the composition information of Decovery, and then transmit the information to ORIGIN, the world's largest public data center for building materials, through Toxnot, and share with them here.
Other important data such as chemical exhaust reports, carbon footprint information, product images and dimensions are integrated

It is reported that Chenyang Water Paint will also disclose the ingredients of the plant-based coating solution developed based on DSM Decovery SP-8407
