Duke Energy will provide renewable energy to South Carolina

Duke Energy announced a new plan to provide renewable energy
to commercial and industrial customers in South Carolina.

The program will provide large non-residential customers with the option to benefit from significant amounts of solar and other renewable energy to meet their clean energy goals

The South Carolina President of Duke Energy said, "Our large commercial and industrial clients have expressed strong interest
in providing programs that help them achieve their sustainability goals.
The Green Source Advantage program will leverage renewable energy solutions to achieve this goal

If approved, the plan would provide a total of 150MW of reserved renewable energy capacity
to South Carolina.
The next step will be for the program to be approved by the South Carolina Public Service Commission (PSCSC) before it can be offered to customers
