DuPont China Zhangjiagang Adhesives Integrated Production Base Breaks Ground

On November 10, DuPont announced that it has officially broken ground for an integrated production base in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu Province, to meet the growing demand for automotive adhesives under the trend of electrification and lightweighting

Cai Jianfeng, Deputy Secretary of Zhangjiagang Municipal Party Committee and Acting Mayor, and relevant representatives of both parties were invited to attend the groundbreaking ceremony

The new integrated production base located in the Yangtze River International Chemical Industrial Park in Zhangjiagang Free Trade Zone will have advanced technology and manufacturing strength, reliable quality, sufficient production capacity, convenient transportation conditions and logistics advantages to effectively meet the needs of the region
.
The factory will be put into operation in 2023 and will mainly provide the following products and solutions
.

1) BETAFORCE TC and BETATECH thermal interface materials - to provide support for battery thermal management during charging and operation of hybrid electric vehicles and pure electric vehicles

2) BETAFORCE composite adhesive - for battery sealing and assembly

3) BETAMATE Structural Adhesive - used for automotive body structure and battery bonding, which can improve the impact resistance of the car and reduce the weight of the body structure
