Tire inserts are all the rage, with racers installing all kinds of bizarre contraptions between the rim and the rubber to run fla.

Solid tire inserts are not a new conce.

AirFōm's three-piece modular inserts look completely different, and the new company's goal is for riders to see the product as a high-end option for high-performance bik.

So why did we design the insert into three layers? Because each layer of AirFōm has a very different function, their materials are also very differe.

The outer blue is ETPU foam (foamed thermoplastic polyurethan.

The grey base layer is EPP foam (expanded polypropylene), a key component of AirFōm's ability to adjust the bike's ride characteristi.

On installation, AirFōm claims that while it's more difficult to install than regular tubeless, it only takes ten minutes per installati.
