    Recently, the functional carbon materials research team of the School of Chemical Engineering of East China University of Science and Technology synthesized a "bifunctional" graphene mesoporous tin dioxide (SnO₂)/tin diselenide (SnSe₂ ) nanosheets as lithium sulfur The separator modified layer (G-mSnO /SnSe ) of the battery exhibits excellent electrochemical performance and has made new progress in the field of lithium-sulfur batteries


    The modified layer of the lithium-sulfur battery separator synthesized by the research team has the characteristics of high electrical conductivity, strong chemical adsorption sites and dynamic intercalation conversion kinetics


    When G-mSnO 2 / SnSe 2 is used as a separator modification layer for lithium-sulfur batteries, it exhibits excellent electrochemical performance with high sulfur utilization and long cycle life


    Lithium-sulfur batteries are considered to be one of the most promising electrochemical energy storage systems after lithium-ion batteries due to their low cost, ultra-high theoretical capacity, and high energy density
