France's EDF announced on Tuesday (May 10) that it will work with Canada's Enbridge to build three offshore wind farms, replacing Denmark's Dong Energy

In a statement, EDF said that Onkyo will acquire a 50% stake in Eolien Maritime France, which currently operates three offshore wind farms in France with a combined capacity of 1,400 megawatts

Upon completion of the acquisition, EDF and Onkyo will jointly own EMF

Enbridge, Canada's largest pipeline services company, said in an independent statement that the acquisition would cost C$282 million ($218 million), while the actual investment in the three wind farms could reach C$4.
