According to a report from the Oil & Gas Journal website on April 28, US Energy Information Administration (EIA) data shows that as of the week of April 23, US crude oil inventories (excluding strategic petroleum reserves) increased by 10% from the previous week.
The EIA report pointed out that the current US crude oil inventory is 493.
Total motor gasoline inventories increased by 100,000 barrels from last week, which is about 3% lower than the 5-year level.
According to EIA, propane and propylene stocks have increased by 500,000 barrels, which is about 18% below the 5-year average.
As of the week of April 23, the average input of US refineries was 15 million barrels per day, which was about 253,000 barrels per day more than the average level of the previous week.
