    Due to growing demand for lightweight building materials for specialty applications, Evonik (Hopewell, VA, USA) is expanding production of ROHACELL high-performance rigid closed-cell foam at its facility in Mobile, Alabama, USA

    With this investment, it will significantly increase North American production capacity for high temperature polymethacryimide (PMI) foam, the company said

    "The investment in Mobile strengthens our global position as a reliable partner and solutions provider for high-performance, lightweight PMI rigid foams, and enables us to meet the growing demand in North America over the long term," said Evonik's high-tech in the Americas.
