7 Marking, packaging, transportation and storage

There should be clear signs on the packaging containers of industrial formic acid products, which include:

a) Product name;

b) The name of the manufacturer;

c) Factory site;

d) Trademark;

e) Batch number or production date;

f) Quality level;

g) Net content:

h) The number of this standard;

i) Comply with the "corrosive substance" mark specified in GB190

Industrial formic acid is packed in plastic barrels or stainless steel tank packaging suitable for the characteristics of formic acid , and the packaging container should be clean and dry

Industrial formic acid is transported and loaded and unloaded in accordance with the dangerous goods transportation regulations

Industrial formic acid should be stored in a cool, ventilated and dry place, avoid sunlight, keep away from fire and heat sources, and cannot be stored together with alkalis

a) When formic acid leaks, evacuate personnel from the leaked contaminated area to a safe area, and isolate them, strictly restrict access and cut off the source of fire;

b) Emergency treatment personnel should wear self-contained positive pressure breathing apparatus and wear acid-alkali-proof overalls;

c) Avoid contact of formic acid with the skin and eyes.
