According to the German company Mobisol Tanzania, homes in remote areas of Tanzania, such as Tabora, Dodoma, Kagera and Primorye, can be equipped with German solar systems
for just 999 shillings a day.
The program was officially launched
in the Tabora region on the 21st.
The company's marketing manager said the program aims to improve the lives
of tens of thousands of Tanzanians in areas without electricity.
The system initially has a capacity of 80 watts and can be upgraded to 120 watts and 200 watts
.
The system lights the entire home, powers
TVs, laptops, refrigerators and mobile phones.
By the end of 15 years, Mobisol has provided green and reliable solar power to 35,000 households in Tanzania, and the company's goal is to provide electricity to millions of low-income households, promoting economic and social development, and contributing to
global environmental protection.
