As part of its efforts to reduce the use of single-use plastic, German retailer Aldi has announced plans to launch a pilot reusable plastic bag for fruit and vegetables in its retail stores in Scotla.
From the end of November, all 90 Au Leqi stores in Scotland will offer reusable drawstring plastic bags made from recycled plastic bottles as a sustainable alternative to single-use plastic ba.
